In January 2022, I started following a keto lifestyle—and my nut consumption went through the roof. One snack I kept coming back to was parmesan crisp mixes. They were convenient, but I knew I could make something better at home with higher-quality ingredients. Being intentional about what we eat has always been a priority in our household, so creating a cleaner, more flavorful version just made sense.
By mid-summer 2023, I finally decided to try it. I started by using some of my favorite seasonings to dial in the flavors—and it worked. What began as a fun experiment quickly turned into something more when a couple of friends tried them and insisted I should sell them. I laughed it off at first… but within a week, Northwind Nut Boutique was officially licensed.
From there, I began developing my own seasoning blends and using better-for-you oils like avocado and olive oil. The result? Nuts that are packed with flavor, satisfy your cravings, and actually keep you full—without the guilt.
