This classic prehistoric woolly mammoth ivory 3mm round bead necklace is finished with a mammoth ivory clasp and may feature natural tones of cream, tan, and/ or brown. Each piece is unique due to the natural coloration of the fossil tusk materials. This listing is for one single necklace. (Their 5’9” model is wearing multiple single strand necklaces.)
Prehistoric woolly mammoth ivory is found by chance in the cold northern regions of Alaska, Canada, Russia, and Siberia. Fossil tusks may range in age from 10,000 to 200,00 years, an natural colors vary depending upon what minerals the tusk laid next to and for how many tens of thousands of years.
