Soft, Fur-trimmed baby booties with delicate beadwork. A warm beautiful keepsake for little feet. Made by Alice Parks- Killbear, daughter of Alaska craftsman Lilly Killbear.
The Killbear name comes from a great-grandfather who, as village chief, protected the community from polar bears-sometimes hunting one with only a spear to feed and clothe the village. The name was given in respect and has been passed down for generations.
