Description
Made in Alaska by Jesse Lebeof
This unique rattle is hand-carved from an Alaskan moose antler tip, giving it a natural shape and feel that's truly one of a kind. It measures approximately 7.5 inches in length, making it a comfortable size to hold, display, or use in ceremony of storytelling.
A longtime resident of Alaska, Jesse Lebeof has been carving for over five decades. His passion began at eight years old, when he attended a fair and watched an Alaskan chainsaw carver at work. Inspired, he went home and created his very first carving-and he's never stopped. Today, Jesse works in a wide range of traditional materials. including antler, stone, and bone. His pieces reflect a lifetime of practice, patience, and respect for the land and the animals that inspire his art.
