Description
In the late 1940s, Alaska's steam trains were gradually replaced by new diesel-electric locomotives. In this dramatic tale, one powerful locomotive, Ol'556 comes back to life to save the day. Ol'556 celebrates the railroad's earlier days when courageous men and powerful steam engines battled the elements to keep the line open through the Last Frontier.
