Hand-carved by Alaska Native Artist Sam Dimmick
These one of a kind Ulu's capture the artistry & traditions of Alaska's Wilderness. The ulu is a traditional, crescent-shaped knife with a perpendicular handle, historically used by Inuit, Iñupiat, Yupik, and Aleut in various tasks, including preparing food, skinning animals, cutting hair, and even trimming blocks of ice for igloos.
