Built to last, each reusable dishcloth can replace hundreds of paper towels and typically lasts 6 months to 1 year, depending on use. When it’s finally time to retire your cloth, simply toss it into your compost pile or household trash, where it will naturally break down—making it a sustainable choice from start to finish.
*Using harsh heavy duty cleaners may limit the lifespan of your dishcloth. To lengthen the longevity of your dishcloth, use with more natural cleaners.
Sponges
They're compressed for a smaller storage footprint until you want to use it. Add a little water and watch it grow to it's full size. The sponge is made of 100% cellulose and can be added to your compost pile at the end of it's life cycle because it is biodegradable. This cellulose sponge contains NO plastic whatsoever! Use it to wash dishes, scrub your bathroom, wipe down countertops or more.
To increase the lifetime of your sponge, be sure to place your sponge in an area that allows water to drain from the sponge. When you need to disinfect, you can put it in the top rack of your dishwasher or submerge in boiling water for 5 minutes.
